Heldwell

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Peak Apps Studio ("we") makes Heldwell. This policy says what the app does with your data. Short version: it stays on your iPhone and we collect nothing.

What Heldwell stores

Your plan progress, hold test results, bladder diary entries and settings are stored only on your device. We have no account system, we do not receive any of it, and we run no analytics or advertising. Heldwell makes no network requests for its features.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, Heldwell schedules local notifications on your iPhone. You can choose a plain text or just the app name. Nothing is sent from a server.

Face ID and passcode

If you turn on the app lock, Heldwell asks iOS to verify you with Face ID or your passcode when it opens. Heldwell never receives your biometric data; iOS only tells the app whether it succeeded.

Alternate icons

The app icon you choose is a local setting. It is not shared.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details. Heldwell checks your purchase status with the App Store on your device.

App updates

The app can download updates to its own code from Expo's update service (expo.dev). Like any download, this reveals your IP address and app version to that service. No personal content is included.

Health information

Diary entries about leaks and urgency are health information. They never leave your device unless you choose to share a summary yourself, using the share sheet.

Children

Heldwell is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Your choices

You can delete all data from Me > Delete all my data, or by deleting the app.

Not medical care

Heldwell is a self-help tool, not medical care. If you have pain, bleeding, a bulge or heaviness, or trouble emptying your bladder, see a doctor or a pelvic health physiotherapist.
